Temperatures today were around 92 degF, high enough to make some measurements of how the Turbo Concepts Stage 1 turbocharger performs with hot air temperature.
Compared to the last warm weather readings that were made when the air temperature was around 85 degF, the performance is a little more off, but not too badly.
The boost curves that were recorded to generate the chart above are shown below:
Adding this latest data to the compilation of K04 and K04 hybrid data that I have collected produces the chart below:
The data spread for the TC Stg1 turbo’s is wider than the other turbochargers due to the conditions that I have been able to measure them under, a range larger than any of the other K04 based products.
The results between products is unsurprising given the relative dimension of the turochargers that have been measured.
